Job Description :
Bray International, Inc. is seeking a skilled Drafter to provide essential drafting and design support. In this role, you will create detailed component models, assemblies, and drawings for a variety of mechanical and electrical devices, ensuring adherence to Bray's standard practices in maintaining ERP and related data.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop detailed design drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications for mechanical and electrical devices using CAD software.
- Create, store, and manage drawings electronically within the Bray ERP system.
- Collaborate with team members to design, layout, or detail components and systems, resolving any design problems that arise.
- Review and analyze specifications, sketches, and related data to inform component design and procedural instructions.
- Check dimensions and assign numbers to components as required.
- Layout and produce schematic, orthographic, or angle views to depict functional relationships among components, assemblies, and systems.
- Consult technical handbooks and tables throughout the drafting phase.
- Work closely with the Design Engineering team on component drawings, assembly drawings, and Bill-of-Materials.
- Assist in maintaining and updating standard product technical documentation.
- Support product validation testing, certification, and preparation for third-party facility audits.
