Job Summary: We are seeking a fresh graduate Mechanical Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems integrated with control technologies. This role will provide an excellent opportunity for professional growth in both mechanical engineering and controls systems, working alongside experienced engineers on exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Development: Assist in designing mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet performance and safety requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop control solutions for mechanical systems.
- Control Systems Integration: Support the integration of mechanical systems with control hardware and software. Assist in configuring PLCs, sensors, actuators, and other control devices.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Participate in the testing and debugging of mechanical and control systems. Assist with troubleshooting issues related to mechanical controls, and ensure systems perform optimally.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation for design processes, test results, and system configurations. Prepare reports and technical documentation for internal and client use.
- Collaboration & Support: Work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and other departments to meet project objectives and deadlines. Provide support during the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in mechanical and control engineering, and actively pursue professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, including CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of control systems, PLC programming, sensors, actuators, and automation systems.
- Familiarity with basic programming languages (e.g., Python, C , MATLAB) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to solving engineering challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders effectively.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to achieving project goals.
- Adaptability: Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
- Internship or project experience related to mechanical controls, automation, or robotics.
- Knowledge of simulation and analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink).
- Exposure to industrial automation standards (e.g., IEC, ISO).
- 3.0 GPA or higher.
