Job Summary:
As a Technical Inside Sales Representative (TISR) at Bray Sales, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our valued customers, ensuring exceptional service and support. You will collaborate closely with internal departments to address customer inquiries, process orders, provide technical information, and resolve issues promptly.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with assigned customer accounts, ensuring high satisfaction levels and repeat business.
- Order Processing: Utilize Bray’s computer systems to efficiently handle customer inquiries, process sales orders, and manage order fulfillment.
- Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to fulfill customer requests, including technical details, order updates, expedited orders, and issue resolutions.
- Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Training & Product Knowledge: Receive thorough training on Bray’s products, systems, and processes to effectively support customers and contribute to team success.
Ideal Experience:
- Sales & Customer Service Experience: 2 to 5 years of successful inside sales or customer service experience, ideally within an industrial environment (preferably in valves and flow control products).
- Relationship Management: Proven track record in customer relationship management with strong interpersonal skills across various communication channels.
- Technical Understanding: Ability to interpret technical requirements and communicate solutions effectively to both customers and internal teams.
- Computer Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general computer literacy in a fast-paced office setting.
- CRM & ERP/MRP Systems: Familiarity with CRM and ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
- Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in a dynamic work environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and efficiency.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Systems: Knowledge of supply chain systems is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Permanent work authorization in the USA is required.
- Understanding of industrial manufacturing environments is advantageous.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant education and experience preferred.
