What You’ll Do :
As an Engineering Assistant , you'll be at the heart of our Engineering department, working closely with our talented engineers to develop CADD drawings and essential documentation for upcoming projects. Your role will be vital in ensuring the smooth execution of these projects, and you'll be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities to keep you engaged and growing in your career. The position will also be responsible for :
Design Excellence :
- Craft detailed construction drawings for new projects and modifications to existing facilities using Microstation or similar software.
- Collaborate with engineers on conceptual designs and layouts for electrical substations and switching stations.
- Create detailed fabrication drawings for structural steel items used in substation construction.
- Maintain both paper and electronic files of drawings.
- Assist in preparing RUS Construction contracts and requisitions for substation projects.
- Monitor requisitions and process work orders for project-specific materials.
Support and Collaboration :
What You’ll Bring :
Associate Degree in Drafting or Design Technology and 7 years of experience in design or CAD proficiency.
