Managers hold themselves and all teammates accountable to Bread Alone safety, culture, and employee conduct standards and they must address any product, equipment, and team issues in accordance with Bread Alone policy.
Managers take ownership and responsibility for their department and embody the work ethic, curiosity, gritty determination, honesty, and humility that is at the core the Bread Alone management principles. Managers ask for consent, build consensus, and never use coercion to lead their team.

Hours:
This is a full-time role with a Sunday-Wednesday schedule from 5:00 am - 3:30 pm.
Compensation Details:
$62,000 to $90,000 annually
Duties & Responsibilities
Duties, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of your department, with all products meeting Bread Alone standards.
- Address issues promptly, support supervisors and staff, and ensure timely, accurate work completion.
- Communicate delays or product issues quickly, while enforcing safety, GMP, and food safety standards.
- Handle scheduling, payroll, and staffing, collaborating with the People department on hiring and team development.
- Keep training materials updated and provide feedback on protocols.
- Master equipment operations, Bread Alone recipes, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure products meet specifications and maintain equipment. Collaborate on quality improvements, safety, and efficiency, while tracking production performance and minimizing waste.
Job Requirements:
- Capability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks in environments with high levels of heat and cold.
- Proven experience in managing diverse teams in a fast-paced setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, equipment operation, and bakery production techniques.
- Ability to back up any production workstation, ensuring continuous operation.
- Flexibility to work holidays, weekends, and additional hours as needed.
- Be able to stay calm and focused when dealing with individuals that have bad behavior or are not able to comply with the policies and rules.
