Extremely busy business owner in need of an amazing full time Medical Front Desk Assistant. We are a fast-growing team of Mental Health Professionals and Clinical Coaches that need a reliable, positive, and motivated team member to help us to continue to grow and serve our clientele as well as the community.
An Administrative Assistant is a supportive role in an office. They are responsible for managing and distributing information among their co-workers, answering phones, and doing other administrative work.
Medical Assistant responsibilities include:
- Handling administrative requests and queries from senior managers
- Organizing and scheduling appointments with EHR software
- Assist with client charting
- Verify patient medical insurance
- Collect patient co-payments
- Check patient in and out
- Answer phones, return phone calls, manage facsimile
- Take referral calls and onboard clients
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
- Maintain contact lists

We are looking for a responsible Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting with daily office needs, and managing our company’s general administrative activities.
Assistant responsibilities include preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel, Google Drive, EHR systems, and office equipment. We'd like to meet you if you also have previous experience as a secretary, receptionist, or Executive Assistant and familiarity with our industry.
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as a Certified Medical Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Virtual Assistant, or Office Admin Assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- High School degree: additional qualification as an administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus.
