We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced and growing team. The candidate will be in charge for day-to-day accounting for Breakthrough corporate entities. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining corporate books and records, A / P, A / R, treasury management, investment accounting and reporting. Success in this role requires attention to detail, ownership of responsibilities, and continued process improvements supporting efficient, timely, and accurate financial reporting. This role reports directly to the Senior Director, Finance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain books and records for Breakthrough corporate entities
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including monthly billings and expenses
- Cash management and planning, oversee treasury-related functions
- Prepare or review journal entries on a timely basis, including calculation of various fee streams
- Maintain and analyze general ledger entries to ensure the accuracy of revenue, reimbursements, and expenses
- Manage, reconcile, and settle intercompany account balances with affiliates
- Prepare and review partnership contributions and distributions
- Ensure timely accurate monthly reports and financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Update and maintain procedure documents to promote control policies and efficiency.
- Assist with audit, tax, and other operational functions as needed by managers.
- Other ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
The base compensation range for this role is $90,000-$100,000 annually. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, as well as access to our comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) plan (with matching contributions), wellness benefits and all other benefits afforded to full-time Breakthrough employees.
