What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Director position at Breakthrough Recovery Outreach?
Responsible for providing oversight for daily operations by planning, directing, guiding, developing, and leading clinical and administrative activities within the facility. DOCO work with the goal of boosting economical and efficient performance of the team while delivering high-quality consumer services.
Ensuring efficient, effective, and ethical clinical and administrative/business practices. Development, implementation, and coordination of a comprehensive clinical program. DOCO must be a skilled communicator with interpersonal skills to collaborate with various professionals, including Physician, Nurse Practitioner(s), Nurses, Insurance Reps, Equipment sales teams, etc. Be equipped with the problem-solving skills to implement creative solutions that do not compromise consumer care and ethical business practice. Development of all staff to ensure provision of quality services that produce desired outcomes for consumer and staff. Collaborate with CEO in strategizing, implementing, and evaluating trends, participant, community & staff needs that promote growth and development for the agency overall.
· Daily supervision and oversight of clinical programs (DBHDD, DFCS, CMOs, and other BRO programs) and administrative business practices, supporting the agency mission and vision, as well as BEST practice standard requirements by evaluating, developing, planning and implementing ALL program and business practice goals and objectives, policies and procedures, guidelines, and productivity audit processes, corrective action plans, productivity.
· Promoting attitudes and behaviors that support and honor effective Teamwork and identify and address attitudes and behaviors that hinder and promote Teamwork.
· Project, develop, and monitor revenue and expense budget for programs & work with finance staff to develop an efficient billing system.
· Facilitate Clinical Administrative Team Meetings (weekly)
· Develop, plan and implement strategies to manage program growth & ensure sustainability of programs.
· Evaluate programs (monthly, quarterly and/or annually) for staff productivity and program services. Then, recommend changes in program services to meet agency and client needs
· Oversight of program evaluation and quality assurance functions for programs including assessment of applicable legal, professional, and licensing requirements (CARF, DATEP, DBHDD, etc)
· Evaluate program contracts (DBHDD, DFCS, CMO, other BRO programs), ensure contract compliance for programs, provides staff with updates to ensure continued compliance with specific clinical and business management standards
· Initiate, develop, and monitor clinical and business practice guidelines/standards including:
o Disseminating information regarding “evidence-based” Practice
o Identifying changes in practice, which may require updating of guidelines
o Overseeing and maintaining training requirements by conducting trainings and ensuring maintenance of Personnel & Training folders
o Contributing to and ensuring that all consumer and staff confidential information is maintained in strictest fashion in accordance with laws, standards and guidelines.
· Prepare for internal & external audits, represent agency, implement audit corrective action plans. Collaborate with file manager to ensure audit ready.
Health Credit - $400.00 per month
