Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Billing Coordinator at Breakwater Oral Maxillofacial Surgery & Dental Implants, you will be responsible for the following duties:
• Data gathering, charge calculation, and invoice creation for billing purposes.
• Preparation and submission of medical and dental insurance claims within OMSVision software.
• Liaison services between insurance providers, team members, and patients regarding payments, approvals, eligibility, etc.
• Collaboration with insurance company guidelines to ensure consistent outcomes.
• Exceptional customer service provision to patients and insurance providers.
• Deadline adherence and prioritization of work against the patient schedule.
• Confidentiality maintenance of information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or vocational school training preferred.
• One year of relevant experience required.
