What are the responsibilities and job description for the Route Driver position at Breathe Oxygen & Medical Supply?
We are currently seeking a reliable Route Driver to join our team. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for delivering medical equipment and supplies to various locations using a company vehicle. This is a role that requires excellent driving skills and customer service abilities.
· Safely drives company trucks.
· Securely loads delivery vehicles
· Inspects and checks ordered medical equipment and supplies
· Prioritizes and coordinates deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls in an efficient manner
· Educates home care customers and other end users on medical equipment and supply use by covering key operating features and performing demonstrations.
· Refers service complaints and compliments to appropriate personnel
· Participates in traditional and e-learning programs
· Works effectively with other company employees, managers and departments
· Performs all job functions with Company Mission, Vision and Goal Statements in mind
Requirements:
· Must have a valid driver's license
· Must be 21 years or older
· High school diploma or GED required
· Must be able to work a flexible schedule and demonstrate time management skills while working independently with minimal supervision
· Must be able to lift and carry machinery and/or equipment weighing up to 100 pounds
