Outside Parts Sales Representative

Brechbuhler Truck Sales is a full line Mack brand dealer serving all trucking needs from hard working class 3 all the way to the heaviest duty class 8 trucks. Our experienced sales team will match a truck to any customer’s needs. The factory trained service techs in our full service facility will handle the toughest repairs on all years, makes and models. Our knowledgeable parts team stocks and delivers genuine Mack and other quality OEM parts and accessories to exceed customers’ needs. General Description:
As an Outside Parts Sales Representative, you will provide current and new customers in an assigned territory knowledge and support for repair and replacement of parts on all makes and models of heavy-duty trucks. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Frequent local travel to customer sites to build meaningful relationships as a trusted advisor
  • Actively seek and develop new accounts and represent the company to potential customers
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services provided
  • Evaluate customer needs and make recommendations utilizing a value selling approach
  • Implement a sales plan to support and achieve sales and profitability goals set by management
  • Submit call reports, plans, etc. in a timely manner
  • Utilize support personnel for order fills and deliveries
  • Keep abreast of current programs and pricing offered
  • Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements pertaining to this position.
  • Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting

Basic Requirements:

  • Successful sales and/or business to business experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with heavy-duty truck parts sales
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in related field

Candidate Criteria:

  • Strong oral and written communication ability.
  • Commitment to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
  • Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
  • Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision, and be willing to attend appropriate training sessions.
