COMPETENCIES / SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES : To perform the job successfully an individual should possess the following competencies, skills and attributes : Experience using statistical, sensitivity, quantitative and qualitative analyses
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE : Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, or other related field; or two years related experience and / or training; or combination of education and experience. MBA or MS in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Math, Real Estate or related fields a plus.
COMPUTER EXPERIENCE : Has advanced abilities in MS Excel (and other MS Office programs) and is proficient in Tableau and / or other complex analytical tools. Can develop spreadsheets, write complex formulas, and automate processes. Proficiency reading and writing code / queries using VBA and SQL is a plus. Ability to type quickly by touch, operate a personal computer and accurately record time worked, in the correct department, using the Company time keeping system. Can operate and make minor repairs to office machines (copier, fax, scanner, phone, and calculator).
LANGUAGE ABILITY : Ability to speak, read, and write in English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial information. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
