Deacons Lodge Golf Course is now accepting applications for part time and full time golf course maintenance positions. We are located 30 minutes north of Brainerd, Minnesota. This Arnold Palmer signature course is sculpted from 450 acres with a mix of forest, wetlands, and three wilderness lakes. Tees, greens, and fairways are bent grass with many waste and traditional bunkers throughout..
Deacon’s Lodge is owned and operated by Breezy Point Resort. The resort features a convention center, four 18-hole golf courses, boat marina, ice arena, five restaurants, five bars, recreation center, and rental accommodations with approximately 250 rental units ranging from hotel rooms, suites, condos, and multiple cabins.
Positions available:
· Course set up
· Tee maintenance; moving markers, filling divots
· Course clean up; blowing greens, tees, and, fairways
· Bunker maintenance; weeding and raking waste bunkers
· Mowing; greens, tees, fairways, and roughs
· Irrigation; watering and irrigation maintenance

Requirements
- Responsible for golf course upkeep, including mowing the golf greens.
- Weeding, planting shrubs and bushes, raking leaves and other debris.
- Helps with project work laying sod and assists the seeding of new greens on tees and fairways.
- Must be able to drive turf vehicles and mowers.
- Working knowledge and ability to use hand and power tools and equipment.
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
- Must be willing to undergo a background screening for this position.
