Appliance Repair Technician

We are hiring for our client - Innovative Appliance Repair Woodland Hills.

The Appliance Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining household appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, and other home equipment. The technician will provide excellent customer service while ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions to appliance issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnosis and Repair:
• Inspect appliances and identify problems.
• Use tools and diagnostic techniques to determine the issue.
• Repair or replace faulty parts.
• Customer Service:
• Interact professionally with customers to explain issues, repair processes, and costs.
• Provide maintenance tips to prevent future issues.
• Technical Expertise:
• Stay updated with appliance models, technologies, and industry best practices.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines for repairs and installations.
• Documentation:
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours.
• Complete service forms and ensure accuracy in billing.
• Tools and Equipment:
• Use hand and power tools, testing devices, and specialty equipment.
• Keep tools and equipment in good working order.
• Safety:
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
• Ensure all repairs are conducted to meet safety standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Training: Certification in appliance repair or vocational training preferred.
• Experience: 1-3 years in appliance repair (preferred but not required).
• Skills:
• Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy appliances and stand for long periods.
  
  

Work Environment

• May work in customer homes, repair shops, or warehouses.
