Position Summary: The Human Resources (HR) Director will play a pivotal role in the growth of Breitling USA by developing and cultivating a clear HR strategy (succession planning, career pathing, workforce planning, performance management, engagement and learning and development) that aligns with Breitling’s vision and goals. Additionally, this individual will serve as an advisor, strategic partner to the leadership and business as well as establish an impactful company culture that aligns with our brand purpose.
Your missions:
Develop and Implement People/HR Strategy:
- Establish a clear roadmap and priorities of HR strategy that align with company vision and goals including: succession planning, career pathing performance management, employee development and cultural engagement.
- Interact with Global HR Leadership team to deliver global people strategy and adapt to local market.
Departmental Business Partnerships
- Partnering with leadership/managers on team skillsets and strengths and where to maximize opportunities.
- Partnering with HR Generalist/Talent Acquisition Manager to ensure that the right hire is in place for roles to sustain the evolution of the business and promote retention.
- Conflict resolution and performance management among the teams by providing viable solutions within legislative parameters.
- Develop and cultivate trust among the team as a solutions driven, professional and compassionate people leader.
- Provide support with recruitment, learning and development and succession planning.
- In partnership with HR Manager and Global HR team perform monthly audits between Success Factors and Insperity PEO system to ensure employee information is up to date and accurate.
- Support and partner with the CFO/COO to prepare budget and compensation spreadsheets for annual review process.
HR Project Management
- Implement and cultivate a true employe brand that aligns with company vision, policies and initiatives.
- Lead various initiatives in alignment with Global practices and programs (Performance Appraisal Process, Goal and Objective Setting, Engagement Surveys, etc).
- In partnership with HR Generalist/Talent Acquisition Manager, develop and cultivate reporting tools and processes.
- Assess manager’s satisfaction and engagement regarding HR and People partnership with continued touch bases, on the ground presence and support.
- Ensure that all HR and Company policies and procedures are adhered to fairly and evolving with the business needs.
Your profile:
- You have a degree in a related field and minimum experience of 8-10 years of HR generalist and leadership experience
- You are able to provide viable solutions and thrive in a fast paced omni channel environment (Wholesale, Retail, Aftersales and Ecommerce)
- You have strong familiarity within a retail business or client facing industry and strong skills in all HR practices (recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, engagement, succession planning, performance management, succession planning, compensation and benefits)
- You have strong knowledge of multi state employment legislation
- Global work experience or visibility to global businesses a plus
- You have experience working with mid to senior level C-Suite management and coaching mid and senior-level leaders to improve leadership performance
- You have proficient mathematical skills (for budgeting and compensation management)
