Job Description:
As a Print and Designer Specialist, you will be responsible for creating innovative sign designs, preparing print files, and overseeing the production of signage. You’ll work closely with our production team to ensure that all designs meet our quality standards and client specifications. This role requires a strong eye for detail, an understanding of the printing process, and the ability to bring creative concepts to life.
Responsibilities:
- Design custom signage for various applications (banners, vehicle wraps, storefront signs, etc.)
- Create print-ready files and ensure accuracy before production.
- Operate and maintain large-format printers and other sign production equipment. (Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating large format printers)
- Review and proof designs to ensure they meet client expectations and branding guidelines.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and make adjustments as necessary.
- Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and software.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with other design-related tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a designer or print specialist, ideally in the sign or print industry.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Experience with large-format printing equipment (Minimum of 3 years’ experience)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field preferred).
