What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solvents Supervisor position at Brenntag?
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Motivate and lead solvents department employees
- Ensure safety though engagement. Ensure equipment is maintained in safe working condition and all safety protocols are adhered to.
- Issue discipline as needed to ensure compliance with Brenntag procedures.
- Drive efficiency through process and equipment improvements. Ensure resources are properly allocated and all team members contribute to the output of the department.
- Contribute to root cause analysis for safety and quality issues/investigations
- Ensure inventory variances are tracked and minimized.
Your Profile
Education and Experience:
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience required
- 5-10 years of leadership experience required
- 5-10 years in chemical distribution industry preferred
