Front Desk Manager

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Front Desk Manager to join our dynamic retail team. As a Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers will be key to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required to meet business needs.
• Ensure compliance with and completion of daily operational procedures within the department.
• Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with company policies, departmental procedures, and relevant industry standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with current customers and accounts, including corporations, agencies, associations, and other organizations.
• Identify and pursue additional business or market opportunities to drive growth.
• Develop and implement strategies to boost performance during slower periods, including special promotions or advertising campaigns.
• Represent the organization at trade shows, networking events, and community gatherings to support sales efforts.
• Facilitate clear communication with management, department heads, and staff to ensure alignment on objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals.

Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of hotel sales experience preferred.
• Familiarity with the PEP reservation systems is a plus.
• High School degree or equivalent experience in sales or a related field required.
• Strong understanding of general sales techniques, revenue management principles, and customer service best practices.
• Proficient in basic computer applications, including Word and Excel, in a professional setting.
• Exceptional communication skills including email.
• Ability to analyze problems and make sound business decisions.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities.
• High ethical standards and professionalism.
