The cashier position is vital to our business. Cashiers play a part in almost every transaction. Whether it’s taking the order over the phone, in person, or taking care of a pick-up/dine-in order, cashiers have a lot of responsibilities. Brenz is here to help you succeed, but before you join our team there are a few basic requirements for the Cashier position.
Personality: Since you will be the “face” of our company to the customer, we need people who will be upbeat, polite, organized, and team-oriented. It is essential that our cashiers strive to make our customers' experiences exceptional.
Responsibilities: Giving our customers a positive first impression is vital for our business. Our cashiers not only need to interact with customers, help them order, and give them their food, but our cashiers are also are responsible for keeping the front of the house clean and organized.
Education: All of our cashiers must be able to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers. Basic math skills are required for this job. Also, the ability to use computers and learn how to navigate our POS system is important.
