$17.88 to $19.67 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. South Area/Melbourne. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Performs experienced service maintenance work operating moderately complex automotive vehicles or equipment and performing routine automotive service and maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS: One (1) year of experience operating moderately complex automotive vehicles and equipment, including a ten (10) wheel standard shift dump truck, used in the construction of roads and maintenance of drainage systems and sidewalks. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida Class B Commercial Driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. This is heavy physical work and involves exposure to dirt, dust, noise, fumes, working in and around traffic and moving machinery, insects, and extreme weather conditions. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
