18.52 to $20.37 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. North Area / Merritt Island / Sykes Creek WWTP. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. Performs experienced technical work in analyzing, maintaining, and processing financial data and accounts for a section of the Utility Services Department, directing the work of assigned staff.
REQUIREMENTS : Two (2) years [60 semester or 90 quarter hours] of college-level credit with major coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field PLUS one (1) year of experience performing accounting or bookkeeping tasks. Additional qualifying education and / or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Experience working with SAP is preferred. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS : Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
