17.88 to $19.67 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Central Area / Cocoa. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 7 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m.Performs experienced service maintenance work operating moderately complex automotive vehicles or equipment and performing routine automotive service and maintenance.
REQUIREMENTS : One (1) year of experience operating moderately complex automotive vehicles and equipment, including a ten (10) wheel standard shift dump truck. Additional qualifying education and / or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Experience in the construction of drainage swales and maintenance of drainage ditches is preferred. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS : Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida Class B Commercial Driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. This is heavy physical labor that involves exposure to dirt, dust, noise, insects, wet environments, working in and around moving machinery and traffic, and extreme weather conditions. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
