24.18 to $26.60 hourly. Actual salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Central Area / Cocoa / Travels Countywide. Work schedule is variable and includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. P erforms skilled crafts and trades work in the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of industrial or commercial electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.Supervises subordinate staff.
REQUIREMENTS : Five (5) years of journeyman level experience in industrial electrical systems including two (2) years in a supervisory or lead worker capacity. Additional qualifying education and / or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS : Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver's license. Must possess, or obtain within six (6) months of employment, a valid Florida Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) with no airbrake restrictions and maintain said license during the term of employment. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or manmade disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
