Reports to: Owners (Britney Caceres, Alec Darcey, Adam Freeman, Hannah Barry)Supervises: Shuttle Drivers, Shed Attendants, Takeout Attendants
Compensation: $26,000 season, with Performance Bonus Package*
Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with quick customer turnover, must feel comfortable with driving large passenger vehicles, will be outdoors in summer heat for a good time, as well as in the container, requires strong independent work skills.

Brevard Tubing is a seasonally-operated outdoor adventure company focused on providing river tubing to visitors and locals in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Utilizing the French Broad River, we provide an immersive outdoor experience for visitors to get closer to nature. We aim to ignite customer’s inner explorer amongst the Appalachians, while also providing a relaxing experience.
Job Summary:
The Brevard Tubing Manager works 5 days a week helping oversee the day-to-day operations of the business. They will be in charge of opening the business and setting up for the day, as well as closing down. Throughout business operations they will be working with employees to get tubers on and off the river. From loading vehicles, to sharing knowledge about tubing and the river, as well as holding a generally positive disposition to maintain an upbeat environment for customers. This job is equally matched in physical duties as mental duties of problem solving and managing time. This is a seasonal position that runs from late May thru early September.
Responsibilities:
- Delegating responsibilities and supervising day-to-day business operations.
- Resolving conflicts or complaints from customers and employees.
- Monitoring store activity and ensuring it is properly provisioned and staffed.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy business, ensuring that signage and displays are up and attractive.
