Our client, a large regional Law Firm is actively looking for an Office Assistant for their growing/new office in Richmond, VA!
Job Responsibilities:
The Receptionist will manage reception duties, oversee the conference center, and handle various administrative tasks. Working hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities include:
- Answering calls and directing them on a multi-line phone system with professionalism and courtesy.
- Screening calls, taking messages, and directing callers to appropriate destinations.
- Communicating clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Greeting visitors, assisting attorneys with conference room and office reservations, and preparing conference rooms with required supplies.
- Managing client files and maintaining the electronic database.
- Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring inventory is stocked and in working condition.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and events.
- Prepare and file documents, both physically and electronically, maintaining an organized filing system.
- Perform basic office duties, including copying, scanning, and faxing documents.
Experience & Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in an office setting.
- Proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
- Experience in a personal injury law firm or legal environment is a plus, but not required.
- A friendly, positive demeanor, and a stable work history with a minimum of 3 years in one role is preferred.
Salary : $40,000 - $50,000
