Job Overview:
The Senior Accountant will assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and analyze financial information to track assets, liabilities, profit, loss, tax liability, and other financial activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and analyze accounting records and financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
- Report financial issues and concerns to management.
- Develop and modify accounting systems and processes.
- Analyze budget reports and data.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and generate financial reports.
- Ensure financial transactions are recorded in accordance with accounting standards.
- Manage bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly profit and loss reports.
- Act as a liaison with credit card divisions for transaction reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Experience in companies generating over $500 million in revenue.
- Strong experience in multi-location financial consolidations.
- Advanced Excel skills (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Experience with ERP systems, especially Netsuite, preferred.
- Background in shipping, receiving, retail, or distribution is a plus.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Salary : $90,000 - $115,000
