International Tax Analyst

Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and motivated International Tax Analyst to join a global, multi-billion-dollar organization. This position offers a great opportunity to work within an expanding tax department, focusing on international tax compliance and reporting for foreign subsidiaries in a complex corporate environment. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of key tax returns and calculations for the multinational group, ensuring compliance with U.S. tax laws and international regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support in preparing U.S. international tax compliance filings, including quarterly estimates, tax provisions, and tax return true-up computations for international subsidiaries.
- Prepare and review tax accruals, ensuring all foreign tax computations are accurate and in line with statutory requirements.
- Assist in completing and filing various tax forms (e.g., Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, and others), ensuring timely and accurate submission.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and update tax records, depreciation schedules, and journal entries.
- Contribute to tax audits by helping respond to inquiries from tax authorities and preparing documentation as needed.
- Participate in enhancing internal processes and software tools, including those for international tax compliance and reporting (e.g., Onesource or similar systems).
- Continuously monitor changes in international tax regulations and ensure compliance with evolving tax laws.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 2 years of relevant tax experience, with some exposure to international tax or a strong interest in this area.
- Familiarity with U.S. federal income tax forms and international tax compliance requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with tax preparation software is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
