I'm partnered on a newly added Technical Accounting, Finance Manager position with a well-known global hospitality organization in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area. In this role, you'll oversee the technical accounting for global operations and provide strategic financial leadership for business initiatives.
Responsibilities of Focus:
- Manage technical accounting activities, including research, implementation of new standards, and preparation of financial disclosures
- Oversee fixed asset accounting, collaborate with internal teams and external auditors, and evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives
- Provide expertise on complex transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, while identifying opportunities to enhance processes and reporting
- Lead cross-functional projects, mentor team members, and maintain professionalism in all interactions with stakeholders
What They're Looking For:
- CPA certification with a bachelor’s degree in accounting (master’s degree preferred)
- At least 4 years of accounting experience, current or prior experience with a top 10 public accounting firm
- Strong communication, time management, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Preferred expertise in ASC 805 and ASC 810
