Key Responsibilities/Duties The scheduling coordinator must maintain a good working relationship with all managers |

Planning and publishing monthly clinical schedules |
||
Managing shift trade agreements and call ins |
||
Attending administrative meetings regarding scheduling and reviewing position control needs |
||
Reviewing PTO requests with the assigned nurse manager and trade agreements keeping the minimization of overtime in mind; entering them into database |
||
Floating staff as needed to cover the schedules effectively using set parameters as guide |
||
Maintain permanent files Schedules neighborhoods based on approved PPD Provides support as a Kaizen on the floor when staffing requirements are not met Available to provide rotating on-call support after business hours to assist with call ins and find coverage. Works very closely with the neighborhood managers to coordinate scheduling needs based on PPD Pull audit reports and update staff with their point status for attendance management alongside nurse managers Complete daily sheets for each neighborhood Assist with outreach marketing for staffing and students |
