Briar Cliff University is seeking a Nursing Instructor to join our dedicated faculty. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement nursing curriculum that meets educational standards and student needs.
- Teach undergraduate nursing courses with a focus on practical application and student engagement.
- Supervise and mentor nursing students during clinical placements.
- Assess student performance through evaluations, feedback, and grading.
- Collaborate with faculty to enhance the nursing program and ensure academic integrity.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to program development initiatives.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license in the state of Iowa or eligibility for licensure.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field is required; Doctorate preferred.
- Experience in higher education teaching or clinical instruction is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with students and faculty.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and assessment.
