The Briarcliff Manor SD is seeking an eager and highly qualified Elementary School Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators and fulfill our mission of inspiring and challenging students to realize their full potential academically, physically, socially and emotionally; prepare them to be successful in this global society.

Location: Todd Elementary School, Grades K-5

Effective Date: 8/27/25

Minimum Certification Required: NYS Childhood Education 1-6 and/or NYS B-2

Salary: Briarcliff Teachers' Association Collective Bargaining Agreement, Steps 1-5

Ideal Qualifications Of a Candidate

• Committed to creating a student-centered, technology-infused learning experience
• Ability to work productively and collaboratively with the faculty, students, and parents
• Willingness to engage students in project/problem-based learning activities using technology to enhance instruction
• Knowledge and understanding of pedagogical skills/strategies and NYS Next Generation Learning Standards
• Ability to promote digital literacy, critical thinking, problem solving, and responsible decision-making skills that are necessary for student succes
• Experience with incorporating social-emotional learning practices into classroom instruction
• Experience teaching in elementary level classrooms
• Exudes a joy of learning and an ability to work with students of all skill and ability levels
