About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. If you’re goal-oriented, personable, and motivated to deliver outstanding service, we want you on our team! You'll be the main point of contact for our valued customers, helping to build strong relationships and provide exceptional support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide solution-oriented support for customer inquiries, order processing, and product information.
- Address and resolve product issues, claims, and credit inquiries; escalate complex cases as needed.
- Promote Briarwood Lane’s products/services to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Verify, process, and track orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Offer product recommendations and solutions for out-of-stock or discontinued items.
- Gather customer feedback and share insights with relevant teams for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer profiles and data.
- Monitor and identify trends or opportunities for improving customer service processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams (warehouse, accounting, sales) to resolve customer needs effectively.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or CRM systems.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of customer service or administrative experience.
- Basic Excel skills (e.g., copy/paste, filtering, sorting).
- Familiarity with home décor, gifts, textiles, or retail industries is a plus.
- Knowledge of upselling or cross-selling techniques is a bonus.

Schedule
- Weekend availability required: Saturday and Sunday (4 hours each).
- Flexible scheduling during weekdays to reach 32 hours per week.
- Ideal schedule would be in office Monday-Wednesday 8:30AM-5PM, WFH Saturday and Sunday 10AM-2PM.
