Job Description:
The IT Director will lead the development and execution of an IT roadmap that aligns with the organization’s strategic objectives. This key role involves designing and maintaining an effective departmental structure that supports the company’s goals, collaborating with business partners to identify and implement strategic IT initiatives, and overseeing the department to ensure robust network security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Security: Lead the department in maintaining robust network security to protect organizational assets.
- Strategic IT Leadership: Direct the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions aligned with organizational goals for growth and success.
- Emerging Technologies & Security: Research and recommend emerging technologies, while managing security risks and their implications.
- User Training & Compliance: Oversee user training and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and technology standards.
- Third-Party Audits: Act as liaison for third-party auditors during annual technology audits.
- Technology Operations: Establish IT operations methodologies, procedures, and tools to support a fast-growing organization, enhancing the employee experience.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with leadership to identify technology needs and optimize IT usage across the organization.
- Operational Excellence: Create and drive standards of excellence in IT services by defining and improving departmental operational metrics.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field) with 3 years of team management experience.
Technology Leadership: Proven ability to oversee IT solutions, infrastructure, and security.
Strategic & Compliance Expertise: Strong leadership, regulatory compliance, and audit experience.
Emerging Tech & Security: Knowledge of evolving technologies and risk management.
Collaboration & Communication: Strong ability to work cross-functionally and with external auditors.
Preferred:
Advanced degree and 5 years in IT leadership.
Experience in a fast-growing company.
