Embedded Firmware Engineer – C/Python

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our team in Redmond, WA. This role involves firmware development, debugging, and integration for hardware products. The ideal candidate should have expertise in C, Python, and Git, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and debug embedded firmware using C and Python.
• Modify existing firmware to meet new standards and perform unit testing.
• Reproduce, investigate, and resolve code errors independently.
• Integrate firmware patches and collect debug data from devices.
• Work with hardware for device flashing, log collection, and debugging.
• Analyze test results to support debugging efforts.
• Create clear and concise technical documentation.

Key Projects:

• Firmware development for hardware devices.
• Low-level software development for embedded systems.

Required Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience in firmware development or a related field.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with C programming.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Python scripting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in embedded systems (device flashing, JTAG debugging, etc.).
• Familiarity with VS Code.
• Rust programming experience is a plus.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work with global teams across different time zones (India, China).
