Scrum Master

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide our Agile development teams to success. In this role, you will facilitate collaboration, remove obstacles, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your primary focus will be ensuring the effective application of Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality products within established timelines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Scrum Facilitation: Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure adherence to Scrum principles and practices.
• Collaboration: Foster collaboration within and between cross-functional teams, promoting communication and transparency. Facilitate discussions and decision-making to drive project success.
• Obstacle Removal: Identify and eliminate impediments that hinder team progress. Proactively address challenges to ensure the team can deliver value without disruptions.
• Continuous Improvement: Instill a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Encourage reflection, feedback, and the adoption of best practices to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Metrics and Reporting: Track and communicate team progress using Agile metrics. Provide visibility into the team's performance and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to prioritize and refine the product backlog. Ensure alignment between business goals and development efforts.
• Training and Coaching: Provide training and coaching on Agile principles and practices. Mentor team members in the adoption of Agile methodologies and support their growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years of directly relevant experience. This experience should include comprehensive work as a business/process leader or industry expert.
• Alternative qualifications may be considered as follows:
• PhD or Law Degree 8 years of relevant experience
• Master’s Degree 9 years of relevant experience
• Associate’s Degree 11 years of relevant experience
• High School Diploma 12 years of relevant experience
