Part-time Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process orders and manage transactions.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, utilizing retail math skills for precise calculations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service for all customers.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or bartending is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques and beverage preparation is a plus.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar systems is advantageous.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be of legal drinking age in accordance with local laws and regulations.

Pay: From $8.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
