Bridge Brothers is seeking to add a Logistics Coordinator to our Pickens, SC team. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for covering loads for the best available rates and meeting customers’ expectations. Logistics execution includes order management, troubleshooting, handling emergency loads, and load follow-up.
Primary Responsibilities:

Provides freight quote/costs to Plant Manager, Project Managers and Sales personnel

Manages carrier base to ensure consistent customer service and on-time delivery.

Provide rate documentation associated with load size regulations.

Books all loads according to shipping and delivery requirements as defined by project requirements and schedules

When handling Bridge loads, creates and drafts Load List logistics plan and delivery tickets by extracting the necessary information from shop drawings, installation drawings, and Logistics Questionnaire.

Resolves all load issues.

Answers incoming direct phone lines in a timely fashion and handles the calls professionally.

Maintains accurate electronic documentation.

Maintains positive working relationships with customers, carriers, and other Bridge Brothers employees.

Participates in process improvement teams.

Provides tenders to the lowest cost and most reliable carriers and works with carriers in specific areas.
Other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
Required minimum education: High school diploma or GED
Preferred Education: 4 years/Bachelor's degree Specialty/Major: Logistics or related field
Required:

1-3 year experience in logistics, customer services, and/or operations with an understanding of warehouse and transportation procedures/operations.

Good verbal and written communication skills

Exceptional phone skills/customer service skills/people skills

Microsoft office suite computer experience

Strong problem-solving/analytical, organization, decision-making, communication, and time management skills

Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines (maintains a sense of urgency) in a fast-paced and changing environment

Ability to work extended hours, including occasional weekends and holidays, if needed.
