Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with various types of wounds, ensuring optimal healing and recovery.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate wound conditions and overall health status.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for wound management.
- Perform advanced wound care procedures, including but not limited to debridement, dressing changes, grafts, and infection control measures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services.
- Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques, prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in wound care practices.
Experience
The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner should be adept at working independently while also thriving in a collaborative environment. Experience with wound management, applying grafts, dressings, and documenting such is a plus.

Pay: $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
