An Accountant at Bridge Community Health Clinic:
- Coordinates all accounts payable processing
- Coordinates general ledger component of payroll functions
- Manages organization’s capital assets
- Records receipts and journal entries into the general ledger and completes reconciliations
- Assists with month-end and year-end closings
- Assists with financial aspects of grants management
- Completes tasks related to the annual financial/compliance audit
Key Accountabilities:
- Use of GAAP Principles. Ensures accounting processes are compliant with nonprofit audit and state and federal grant requirements.
- Subject Matter Expert & Process Improver. Learns and consistently seeks to improve finance-related systems/processes that improve efficiency and ensure accuracy.
- Management Scope. The Accountant has no direct reports. The Accountant reports to the Finance Director and provides support to members of the Senior Leadership and Management teams.
- Stakeholder Relationships. Ensures positive interactions across internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Need to Bring:
- An associate’s degree in accounting; bachelor’s preferred
- A minimum of 2-years accounting experience
- Skills in various accounting systems/software
