Overview
Bridge Community Development Center Mississippi is seeking a driven, dedicated and compassionate IDD Services Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate is able to excel in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must possess management skills, excellent organizational skills, a strong background in behavioral health, special education, or related fields, and will be passionate about fostering growth and independence in our clients. This role requires a proactive approach to managing staff, developing programs, and ensuring the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of service delivery for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Develop and implement individualized service plans that promote client growth and independence.
- Supervise and mentor staff, providing training on best practices in caregiving and behavior management.
- Conduct regular assessments of client needs and progress, ensuring appropriate adjustments to care plans.
- Facilitate communication between clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support.
- Maintain accurate data collection on client progress and program effectiveness for multiple services.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Advocate for clients' rights and needs within the community.
- Support the expansion of service delivery across multiple counties in the agency's service delivery area.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in related fields such as childcare or behavioral health.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and special education practices.
- Strong skills in data collection and analysis to track client progress effectively.
- Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADLs) and caregiving best practices.
- Background in social work or related disciplines is preferred.
- Proficiency in American Sign Language is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.82 - $20.70 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
