About Us Bridge Masters, Inc. (BMI) is a leading company in bridge utility construction and access solutions. We design and manufacture our own patented mobile bridge-access machines—the BridgeWalker™ and Titan T3™—which are used to install and maintain critical infrastructure throughout the U.S. and Canada. Key Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using SolidWorks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, consultants, fabricators, and technicians
- Manage design files and revisions using SolidWorks PDM
- Create and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) and supporting documentation
- Assist in troubleshooting and improving products based on field feedback
- Apply knowledge of kinematics, sheet metal design, and hydraulic/control systems
- Support project execution to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background
- Minimum 4 years of total engineering experience
- At least 2 years of mechanical design experience
- Proficient in SolidWorks (assemblies, drawings, modeling) and sheet metal design
- Strong mechanical and technical problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SolidWorks PDM
- Background in mobile machinery or equipment design
- Familiarity with welding and fabrication processes
- Understanding of hydraulic systems and control software (e.g., Parker IQAN)
- Hands-on experience with tools, machining, or electronics troubleshooting
