BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATERS, INC.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist reports to the Director of Human Resources and will work with all levels of staff to ensure the agency maintains a high-performance workforce. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for strategically sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and hiring employees to meet an organization's long-term goals, ensuring a positive candidate experience and contributing to a strong talent pipeline.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Identify and engage with potential candidates through various channels (e.g., job boards, social media, networking).
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Review resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates against job requirements.
- Oversee the entire hiring process, from job posting to onboarding.
- Foster strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and other stakeholders.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
- Track key metrics related to recruitment efforts and providing insights to improve processes.
- Ensure efficient and effective use of the recruitment budget.
- In concert with hiring managers, create job descriptions that reflect the requirements of each position.
- Coordinate and collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria.
- Build and develop a pipeline of the most qualified candidates by assessing their CVs, portfolios, and references, and attending job fairs and recruitment events.
- Maintain clear records of all recruitment documentation, including interview notes and related paperwork in ADP, to share with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Provide ad hoc reports of all requisition status.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
- Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks.
- Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates.
- Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Working knowledge of ADP WorkForce Now.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or similar field
- Five years of experience in a talent acquisition or recruitment specialist role
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
The salary for this position is $75,000-$80,000
