THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION WITH AN UNCAPPED COMMISSION STRUCTURE AND OTE OF $250K PLUS A YEAR!
A global leader in insurance technology is currently in search of an Outside Sales Consultant to be the leading sales force in the Carolina Region consisting of North and South Carolina. This individual will be relied upon for hunting for new business and upselling their current customer base and expanding the well-established territory for a company that has been in business for nearly fifty (50) years!
The Outside Sales Consultant is responsible for a combination of hunting and farming within the territory. Approximately 70% of your time will be spent selling enterprise business solutions to new account prospects, which will consist of independent insurance agencies with 25-149 users. The other roughly 30% of the time will be spent on up-selling/cross-selling to current client agencies with 10-250 users.
The Outside Sales Consultants within the company work closely with their internal, knowledgeable team of Technical Solution Consultants to create business plans that will show how the company’s SaaS and cloud based computing products will allow existing clients and prospects within the territory to reach their business goals more efficiently and effectively.
As an Outside Sales Consultant while supporting the current client base, you will also identity new business opportunities and be relied upon to prospect, cold call, open doors, set appointments, and ultimately close the sale!
This is a fulltime, base plus commission role with an UNCAPPED compensation structure and comes with an attractive benefits package available day one! This role requires travel within an assigned geographic territory. This role also comes with unlimited PTO based on performance and an established, growing territory!

Responsibilities:
- Follow up on leads provided by the Business Development Group in a timely fashion.
- Work with internal team(s) and management to identify new target opportunities.
- Maintain customer relationship after sale to cultivate referral base.
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time within the assigned territory.
- Represent the firm at industry events and tradeshows.
Required Experience:
- 3 years successful outside required, business-to-business technology solution sales experience
- Enterprise solutions and business development experience is highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing, or equivalent work experience
- Formal solution sales training highly preferred
- Self-starter and motivated individual who is disciplined, creative, and independent
- A valid driver’s license and safe driving record is required
Salary : $95,000 - $100,000
