The Vice President of Compliance is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s compliance program to ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal policies. This leadership role involves developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risks, monitoring regulatory changes, and fostering a culture of ethical behavior and accountability. The VP of Compliance will collaborate with senior management and other departments to ensure compliance across all operations, identify potential compliance issues, and lead efforts to address them proactively. This position requires strong leadership and a deep understanding of industry regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and Implementing Compliance Programs: Design and oversee comprehensive compliance strategies to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential compliance risks across the organization.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and ensure the organization remains compliant with all relevant laws and industry standards.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Work closely with senior management, legal teams, and department heads to promote a culture of compliance and ethical conduct.
- Training and Education: Lead compliance training initiatives to educate employees on policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Internal Audits and Investigations: Oversee audits and investigations into potential compliance breaches, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present compliance reports to the board and regulatory authorities, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and refine compliance processes to enhance effectiveness and alignment with business goals.
What you should bring
- 5-10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs.
- HUD, LIHTC and NAHMA certifications.
- Strong understanding of industry regulations, laws, and compliance frameworks relevant to the organization’s operations.
- Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, consult senior management, and drive compliance initiatives across the organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex compliance matters to diverse audiences, including executives, regulators, and employees.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- 401K: Bridge Investment Group will contribute to your account equal to 100% of the first 4% of pay which you contribute to the plan. These contributions belong 100% to the employee upon their contribution. Eligible employees are automatically enrolled contributing 4%, with up to 6% company match, with the option to opt out. *The employee must be at least 21 years of age and have worked for the Company for at least 60 days.
- Paid Time Off: Employee will accrue 5.23 hours of paid time off per pay period for a total of 17 days per year.
- 11 Paid Holidays per year.
- Following six (6) months of employment at the Company, you will be eligible per birth, adoption or placement of a child for four (4) weeks of paid parental leave as the primary caregiver to the child or two weeks of paid parental leave as the secondary caregiver to the child. Following two years of employment at the Company, you will be eligible for twelve weeks of paid parental leave per birth, adoption, or placement of a child if you are the primary caregiver of the child.
- Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $5,000 per year of pre-approved tuition expenses will be reimbursed upon submission of approved documentation. Repayment obligations may apply if employment terminates prior to 24 months.
