- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes, including monitoring sterilizer cycles and documenting results.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of instruments for various procedures, including endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatrics.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on sterilization equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and other healthcare staff to facilitate efficient workflow.
- Provide support in managing medical imaging equipment as needed.
- Stay updated on best practices in sterilization techniques and infection control.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental and medical procedures.
- Familiarity with medical records management systems.
- Experience or knowledge in endodontics, prosthodontics, pediatrics, and vital signs monitoring is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating X-ray machines and understanding medical imaging protocols is a plus.
- Ability to perform as a dental receptionist when required, ensuring smooth patient interactions.
