About The Role
As a Sterilization Technician, you’ll be the backbone of our infection control process, making sure all dental instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and tracked. You’ll work primarily at our Fallsway location, but may assist at other clinics as needed. From maintaining autoclave logs to organizing supply inventory, your work keeps our clinics running safely and smoothly.
What You’ll Do
✔ High school diploma or GED
✔ BLS certification (required)
✔ Minimum one year of experience in a dental setting
✔ Maryland X-ray license preferred
✔ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
✔ Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, client-centered environment
✔ Flexibility, teamwork, and a deep respect for client confidentiality

About The Role

What You’ll Do
- Sort, clean, decontaminate, and sterilize dental instruments following CDC, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards
- Maintain and monitor autoclave machines, perform biological spore testing, and keep detailed logs
- Stock, label, organize, and distribute sterilized instruments and dental materials
- Inspect and maintain instruments, identifying any that need repair or replacement
- Assist with operatory setup and breakdown and perform chair-side assisting for simple procedures as needed
- Support clinic operations by ensuring infection control standards are met at all times
