Your mission will be to create clear, comprehensive documentation and training materials that bridge the gap between complex technical systems and end-users.
In this position, you can expect to:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the platform, including user guides, API documentation, and best practices
- Create engaging and informative diagrams to illustrate system architecture and workflows
- Design and produce instructional resources such as tutorials, videos, and interactive learning materials
- Collaborate closely with DevSecOps engineers to understand platform features and updates
- Translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly language for various audience levels
- Develop and deliver training sessions to help users effectively leverage the platform
- Create documents, diagrams, and instructional resources to assist software developers and cyber operators in learning how to use the platform
- Explain and promote platform engineering principles and their application to various applications
- Ensure the platform created by DevSecOps engineers is well-documented and easily understood by end-users
- Gather feedback from users to continuously improve documentation and training materials
- Stay current with DevSecOps and platform engineering principles to ensure accurate and relevant content
- Contribute to the development of a knowledge management strategy for the platform
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Strong technical writing skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Experience creating technical documentation, preferably in a software or IT environment
- Familiarity with DevSecOps, cloud technologies, and Agile software development processes
- Proficiency in documentation tools and version control systems (e.g., Confluence, GitHub)
- Experience with creating visual aids, diagrams, and instructional design
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving technical environment
- Background in computer science, information technology, or a related field is beneficial
- Active Secret Clearance is required
- This is a hybrid position - with both onsite and remote work supported. All candidates must be local to the San Antonio area to support the onsite requirements.
