What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager position at Bridgepoint Consulting?
Bridgepoint Consulting, An Addison Group Company, is currently seeking experienced Accounting Managers who want to join our growing Boston-based team, tasked with supporting our clients in a wide range of interim and project-based accounting needs.

You’ll be a great fit if you have experience in:
- 5–8 years of hands-on full-cycle accounting experience
- Recent hands-on experience with routine accounting processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and cash management
- Monthly closing procedures, monthly and quarterly financial reporting
- Small to mid-sized company environment with the ability to multi-task and wear several hats
- Preparing and/or reviewing monthly account reconciliations
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, experience researching technical GAAP issues
- Ability to adapt to various client environments, and communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
Skills You’ll Need:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree - Accounting or Finance degrees are a plus
- Strong desire for consulting style work and delivering excellent client service
- Hungry, Humble, Smart Attitude
Highly Preferred:
- Revenue Recognition
- Work experience with both public and private companies
- Industry experience in start-ups, technology, software, SaaS & Big Four/public accounting
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks, NetSuite, Great Plains or Intacct), along with moderate – advanced experience with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel
Preferred:
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or MBA
- Prior employment by a Big 4 or other nationally recognized accounting firms
