Position: Senior Salesforce Developer & Administrator

Reporting to the EVP, Operations and Technology, we are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer & Administrator to design, develop, and manage Salesforce solutions that drive business growth and efficiency. You will balance your expertise in development with administrative responsibilities, including managing day-to-day system operations, user support, and enhancements. This is also a fantastic opportunity to leverage cutting-edge tools like Agentforce and Einstein Sales and Service while supporting the smooth operation of our Salesforce ecosystem.

This role has a hybrid work model 3 times in the office based in Toronto, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Design & Development
    • Analyze business req and deliver tailored Salesforce solutions that align with company goals.
    • Develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Aura, Flow Builder, and Visualforce.
    • Utilize Agent force to optimize workflows and enhance sales and service team performance. Configure and deploy Einstein Sales and Service for predictive insights, intelligent automation, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Salesforce Administration
    • User Management: Maintain user accounts, profiles, roles, and permissions to ensure secure and efficient access.
    • System Maintenance: Perform routine system maintenance, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.
    • Data Management: Oversee data imports, exports, de-duplication, and cleansing to ensure data integrity.
    • Customization: Configure Salesforce to meet business needs using declarative tools (e.g., Flow Builder, validation rules, and custom objects).
    • Support & Training: Provide end-user support, training, and documentation to ensure effective use of Salesforce across the organization.
    • Release Management: Manage Salesforce updates and releases, ensuring seamless adoption of new features.
  • Integration & Security
    • Develop and manage integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
    • Implement robust data security measures, including sharing rules, permission sets, and backup solutions.
  • Collaboration & Project Execution
    • Partner with Business Analysts and Data Analysts to manage an efficient development pipeline using Agile or Waterfall frameworks.
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to offshore development teams.
    • Contribute to project planning by estimating effort, allocating resources, and setting realistic timelines.
  • Post-Implementation Support
    • Train and empower client teams with effective knowledge transfer.
    • Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to ensure a smooth post-implementation experience.

Education

Post-secondary diploma in computer science, information technology, or a related field

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3 years of Salesforce development and administration experience.
  • 5 years, with proven leadership in end-to-end solution delivery as a senior developer.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Apex, LWCs, Flow Builder, Aura, Visualforce, and Experience Cloud.
  • Strong integration skills using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Familiarity with Conga Composer, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Agentforce and Einstein features preferred
  • Self-motivated, innovative thinker with a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with JIRA or other issue-tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
