Job Summary :
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for configuring, customizing, and maintaining the Salesforce platform to meet the organization's needs. He / she has to remain current with the ever-changing Salesforce landscape and maintain a detailed understanding of the company's business processes. Work closely with the business leaders / stakeholders to identify and expand Salesforce usage and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities :
User Management :
Create and manage user accounts, profiles, and permissions.
Provide user support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Customization and Configuration :
Customize Salesforce fields, page layouts, record types, and validation rules to align with business processes.
Create and maintain custom objects, workflows, and process automation.
Respond to the user requests and assist with developing solutions to address business needs
Data Management :
Import, export, and maintain data using data loaders or other tools.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency through data cleansing and validation.
Routine maintenance and data cleanup activities to maximize performance and minimize data loss or corruption
Integration :
Integrate Salesforce with other systems, such as marketing automation tools or ERP systems.
Monitor data flows and troubleshoot integration issues.
Security and Compliance :
Implement and enforce security policies and data access controls.
Stay updated on Salesforce security best practices and compliance regulations.
User Training and Documentation :
Provide training to new users and create documentation and guides.
Automation :
Develop and maintain automation processes using tools like Process Builder and Flow.
Collaboration :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement solutions.
Work with Salesforce developers or consultants when necessary.
Qualifications :
3-5 years of experience administering Salesforce and innovating or scaling in a similar, fast-based environment
Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, computer science, etc.) or equivalent experience.
Salesforce certifications required :
Certified Administrator
Certified Advanced Administrator
Certified Platform App Builder
Strong understanding of Salesforce features and capabilities.
Proficiency in Salesforce customization, configuration, and data management.
Experience in training and process documentation
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to work with various stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Knowledge of Salesforce best practices
Optional / Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with other Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.).
Experience with Selenium
Knowledge of Apex and Visualforce (Salesforce development languages).
Experience with third-party Salesforce apps and integrations.
Project management skills for larger Salesforce projects.
