Job Summary :

The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for configuring, customizing, and maintaining the Salesforce platform to meet the organization's needs. He / she has to remain current with the ever-changing Salesforce landscape and maintain a detailed understanding of the company's business processes. Work closely with the business leaders / stakeholders to identify and expand Salesforce usage and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities :

User Management :

  • Create and manage user accounts, profiles, and permissions.
  • Provide user support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Customization and Configuration :

  • Customize Salesforce fields, page layouts, record types, and validation rules to align with business processes.
  • Create and maintain custom objects, workflows, and process automation.
  • Respond to the user requests and assist with developing solutions to address business needs
  • Data Management :

  • Import, export, and maintain data using data loaders or other tools.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency through data cleansing and validation.
  • Routine maintenance and data cleanup activities to maximize performance and minimize data loss or corruption
  • Integration :

  • Integrate Salesforce with other systems, such as marketing automation tools or ERP systems.
  • Monitor data flows and troubleshoot integration issues.
  • Security and Compliance :

  • Implement and enforce security policies and data access controls.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce security best practices and compliance regulations.
  • User Training and Documentation :

  • Provide training to new users and create documentation and guides.
  • Automation :

  • Develop and maintain automation processes using tools like Process Builder and Flow.
  • Collaboration :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement solutions.
  • Work with Salesforce developers or consultants when necessary.
  • Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years of experience administering Salesforce and innovating or scaling in a similar, fast-based environment
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, computer science, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • Salesforce certifications required :
  • Certified Administrator
  • Certified Advanced Administrator
  • Certified Platform App Builder
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce features and capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce customization, configuration, and data management.
  • Experience in training and process documentation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to work with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce best practices
  • Optional / Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with other Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.).
  • Experience with Selenium
  • Knowledge of Apex and Visualforce (Salesforce development languages).
  • Experience with third-party Salesforce apps and integrations.
  • Project management skills for larger Salesforce projects.
